Cambridge Mayor’s Chosen Charity

The Mayor of Cambridge, Ian Nimmo-Smith has nominated Cambridge Afasic as Charity of the Year in Celebration of the National Year of Speech and Language Communication.

Ian Nimmo-Smith attended our recent AGM and said he would like to work to publicise the National Year of Speech and Language Communication and promote Afasic.

We have a display in the Cambridge Guildhall and will be running a number of events and activities during the next year. We are very grateful to the Mayor in choosing us as one of his Charities.
